Bintan, Indonesia

The crew and I decided to check out Bintan, Indonesia for a weekend. Bintan is one ferry ride away from Singapore. Once we got there, we realized we needed to take a really long cab ride to get closer to the more “budget” resorts. The cab drive was one of the highlights of the trip because the driver allowed us to hook up Xander’s Ipod and blast songs the whole way. Although the ride was long, it was a lot of fun. Once we got to our guesthouse, we realized that it wasn’t on the beach like we had hoped and that we were going to have to cab to a beach the next day. We spent the next two days on the beach at another resort. The water wasn’t as blue as other places I had been, but it was overall a fun weekend with friends. The weekend consisted of burying Robyn in sand and tanning. Definitely can’t complain since Bintan was only 2 hours from Singapore and we were lucky enough to have great weather all weekend.
