Krabi, Thailand
Although we were only in Krabi for an afternoon and a night, I still really enjoyed my stay. We found a hostel that cost only $5 a night and was walking distance from the little town. It seemed like the town was for tourists that were connecting from island to island and needed a place to stay for the night, as we were doing. The town had beautiful guesthouses and roof top patios, but no one was on them. We thought maybe because it wasn’t high tourist time yet. We ended up finding a Hawker with a ton of stands with all authentic Thai food. Obviously, the one that caught our eye was the Pad Thai stand. It was probably the best Pad Thai I have ever had and it was only 30 Baht, which is less than a dollar! We spent the evening drinking $1 large Chang Beers and eating Pad Thai. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with Krabi.
